Nick Woodruff (Attleboro, Mass.), without hesitation, states that his goal is to become the first defender to sign a Homegrown Player deal with the New England Revolution.
The 21-year-old center back is one step closer to realizing that dream, as he’s signed with the club’s USL League One side, Revolution II, for the 2020 season.
Woodruff, who recently completed his redshirt sophomore season at Michigan State, has bypassed his final two years of NCAA eligibility to turn pro. He’s planning to complete his degree over the next few years, though couldn't pass up the opportunity to join his boyhood club.
