A March 9 match at Gillette Stadium saw two first-year players with the New England Revolution make their professional debuts – each in the attacking third.
One was local product Justin Rennicks (South Hamilton, Mass.), while the other was Tajon Buchanan, one of two first-round picks from the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
Buchanan, from the same hometown as Toronto FC and Canada national team midfielder Jonathan Osorio, recently made his debut for the Revs. Since, he's fought through a minor setback on the injury front to set the stage for a bright future.
As part of our Spring 2019 magazine, New England Soccer Journal caught up with the Syracuse product.
