DeJuan Jones somehow managed to carve out enough time to perch himself on a table outside the Revolution locker room at Gillette Stadium.
This rare pause arrived in the moments before another training session and followed in the wake of signing his first professional contract Feb. 25
A former Michigan State midfielder, Jones spent the previous six weeks in a constant state of motion. His life in East Lansing, Mich., transformed when MLS commissioner Don Garber announced his name with the 11th pick in the MLS SuperDraft back in January.
“It’s a unique experience,” Jones explained to New England Soccer Journal.
