The 2021-22 ECNL Girls soccer season wrapped up Monday, as the national finals for the age groups of U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16 and U-17 were held in Richmond, Va.
No teams from New England-based clubs qualified for the national finals. But it was still an excellent season for sides from this region.
Around here, it’s time for players to catch their breath and get ready for the next season and what the fall has to offer.
Also of note, June 15 is an important date each year for rising high school juniors, as they can officially start communicating with college coaches and dive into the new recruiting cycle. That, of course, impacts the Class of 2024 players, and there is no shortage of outstanding performers in that class throughout the region.
