The 2021-22 ECNL Boys soccer season will wrap up in the next week, as the national finals for the age groups of U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16 and U-17 will be held n the St. Louis area.
No teams from New England-based clubs qualified for the national finals. But it was still an excellent season for sides from this region.
Around here, it’s time for players to catch their breath and get ready for the next season and what the fall has to offer.
Also of note, June 15 is an important date each year for rising high school juniors, as they can officially start communicating with college coaches and dive into the new recruiting cycle. That, of course, impacts the Class of 2024 players, and there is no shortage of outstanding performers in that class throughout the region.
