Which Division 1 women’s soccer team will set the pace this fall across New England?
That was the question posed to the region’s 23 head coaches for New England Soccer Journal’s season preview, and the results are in. Coaches were asked to vote for their top 10 teams in New England, then point totals were added up on our end.
There’s a familiar face at the top in Boston College, even though a transition period lies ahead with Jason Lowe entering his first year as head coach. The Eagles took home 21 first-place votes, while two more went to another program coming off a strong 2018 campaign.
Ahead of the 2019 season, let’s look at the region’s top 15 teams. There were a few surprises.
