The NCAA women’s Division 1 Final Four will begin Friday with the two national semifinals, followed by the national championship game on Monday (7 p.m.) at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
Stanford and Wake Forest will meet in the first semi (Friday, 5 p.m.), while ACC rivals Duke and North Carolina will square off in the second game (Friday, 7:30 p.m.).
All four of those programs reside outside of New England, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t benefitting from this region’s talent.
