Need proof of why the NESCAC is called a powerhouse conference in Division 3 men's soccer? Look no further than Final Four weekend in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Three national semifinalists -- Amherst, Connecticut College and Middlebury -- compete in the NESCAC. The only outlier is Virginia-based Washington & Lee. The national semifinals will be played on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas, Nev., while the championship will take place on Dec. 7 in Vegas.
While there's no guarantee the national title returns to the NESCAC, the odds are favorable. And remember: NESCAC teams won all but one NCAA final from 2014-21, and a NESCAC team has played in all but one national championship match since 2014.
