When Peter Trevisani founded New Mexico United three years ago, he not only lacked a background in soccer, he had no experience in sports management. But Trevisani has displayed a winning touch with United, advancing to the USL Championship playoffs each of the past two seasons and setting attendance re- cords along the way.
United and Trevisani have overcome long odds, competing against established teams and surviving in an unproven market.
