We've seen this story play out.
Except last time it was a wild one that featured two penalty-kick saves from Costa Rican goalkeeper Marco Saborío Perez. When the dust settled, Berkshire grinded out a 3-2 win over Taft on Oct. 10, handing coach Ozzie Parente's team its first loss of the season.
And now they're slated to meet again on Saturday afternoon, again in Sheffield, Mass., but with even higher stakes. That's because No 1. Berkshire (17-0) and No. 4 Taft (14-2-2) will clash in a Class A semifinal, with the winner advancing to Sunday morning's final at Worcester Academy.
"The mindset is not really one of revenge or anything like that," Parente said.
