In the blink of an eye, nearly three months of the 2018-19 Development Academy season is in the books.
The big event on the horizon is the twelfth annual Winter Showcase in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., an event that draws hundreds of college coaches to watch some of the nation's top youth players. Games are slated for Nov. 29 to Dec. 3.
Before then, it's important to take stock of how the region's five DA clubs – New England Revolution, Oakwood, Beachside, Boston Bolts and Seacoast United – are shaping up. There have certainly been ups and downs, so we've highlighted some key storylines that have defined each club's fall.
Also noted within are some standout players locally in the DA. Some of the nation's top scorers call New England home, much like Boston Bolts striker and Michigan commit Christian Pulselli (Pembroke, Mass.) did for much of 2017-18.
