Fall high school sports in Massachusetts are eying a Sept. 14 start date, while in Maine Sept. 8 is circled on the calendar. As for coaches in New Hampshire and Connecticut, they’re optimistic that a robust season awaits, even if there is a delay.
But what about those in Rhode Island?
A less upbeat tone emerges from South Kingstown’s Scott Rollins, president of the Rhode Island Girls Soccer Coaches Association, and Barrington’s Don Denham, president of the Rhode Island Soccer Coaches Association.
