State-by-state decisions will determine what soccer’s return looks like during the COVID-19 pandemic, though the path back in New Hampshire won’t be immediate.
Rusty Wightman, president of the New Hampshire Soccer Association, outlined as much during a phone interview Tuesday, addressing how the youth game moves forward.
The NHSA, home to roughly 14,000 players and 70 organizations, is developing a protocol in coordination with US Youth Soccer that will contain guidelines for members to follow. They’ve already cancelled the New Hampshire Soccer League spring season (U-11 to U-19, boys and girls), and are now looking ahead to the summer months.
