After spending his entire career with the New England Revolution, Andrew Farrell is woven into the fabric of the club.
It feels like he’s been here forever. His constant and enduring presence creates a pleasant quandary when juxtaposed with his boundless and inherently youthful enthusiasm. It’s really difficult to pinpoint how long he’s actually played here.
At least there’s an impending milestone to point the way and sort through the conundrum. Farrell is on course to top 250 league appearances for the Revs by early July. It’s a number that looms both as too few for a player associated with the club so readily and too many for a 29-year-old central defender still squarely in the prime of his career.
