Dallas is on the Revolution Academy’s mind as the 2020-21 season winds down.
The MLS club’s U-15 and U-19 teams have mathematically secured spots in the inaugural MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs, which are booked for June 25 through July 3 down in Texas. The U-15s, led by head coach Shalrie Joseph, could also soon book first place in the Northeast Division.
Pending results from the weekend, their U-17s may become a third playoff-bound side. MLS NEXT is using points per game to determine who qualifies, cognizant of how the COVID-19 pandemic has produced an uneven number of regular-season games.
