The Revolution II pipeline has another bright prospect after Revolution Academy midfielder Hikaru Fujiwara (Lexington, Mass.) was announced as the club’s latest signing on Wednesday.
Fujiwara has been in New England’s youth ranks since 2016, joining as a 12-year-old from GPS Massachusetts and progressing up the various age groups.
Now 17, Fujiwara is the fourth Revolution Academy player to sign directly for the USL League One outfit after fullback Colby Quinones (Bedford, N.H.) did this past November. The others are midfielder Dennis Ramirez (Waltham, Mass.) and forward Meny Silva (Roxbury, Mass.).
