Opening day for the 2023 MLS season is Saturday.
The New England Revolution will open up the campaign in Charlotte (7:30 p.m.) as part of a 13-match day to kick things off.
For Revs fans, the hope is that the franchise can rediscover the record-breaking success it found in the 2021 season, and maybe even capture the franchise’s first MLS Cup.
Beyond the Revolution, there’s plenty of players with deep New England connections to keep an eye on this year. That includes players who have already built name recognition within the league, and some who are hoping to jumpstart a long and prosperous career.
