Perhaps more than most soccer observers realize, NEPSAC girls soccer programs are loaded with talent.
This year's edition, aside from early Division 1 commits, is chalked full of standouts in the Development Academy and Elite Clubs National League, plus several with youth national team call-ups. The prep school ranks, quite simply, have come a long way in recent years.
To get a sense of which players are poised for major impacts throughout prep school campuses, New England Soccer Journal has highlighted 20 of the NEPSAC's top players. They're listed in alphabetical order and aren't ranked numerically.
Given the heights Loomis Chaffee and Thayer reached last year, respectively winning the Class A and Class B tournaments, it's no surprise to see they're players featured. The depth of talent, however, extends far beyond those schools.
