Jaydah Bedoya has all focus on Saturday's final regular-season game vs. Brooks, then when the Class B NEPSAC tournament gets underway next week. The Tabor Academy sophomore striker, after all, is a team-first player.
But one couldn't blame Bedoya if she took a moment to pause and celebrate. Earlier this week, the New Bedford, Mass., native verbally committed to the University of Connecticut, a traditional New England soccer powerhouse that's made 31 NCAA tournaments.
The Huskies went 4-14 in 2018 under first-year head coach Margaret Rodriguez, struggling to transition from Len Tsantiris retiring after 37 years in charge.
