PHILADELPHIA – The prep school soccer ranks in New England have long supplied promising players to Major League Soccer.
At Friday’s SuperDraft in the City of Brotherly Love, that pipeline continued, as a trio of attackers with roots in the Right To Dream academy joined MLS.
Michigan’s Francis Atuahene, Wake Forest’s Ema Twumasi and Virginia’s Edward Opoku, all Ghanaians, were signed to Generation adidas deals coming out of college, meaning they won’t count against their respective club’s salary cap.
