Matt Turner added another achievement to his sensational summer on Wednesday night.
The New England Revolution goalkeeper was named MVP of the MLS All-Star Game in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old Turner made two saves in a penalty shootout to help the MLS All-Stars defeat Liga MX All-Stars from Mexico, 3-2, in the shootout. The match was knotted at 1-1 after regulation and went straight to the penalty shootout.
It was the first victory for the MLS All-Stars since 2015, when they defeated Tottenham Hotspur, 2-1.
