Addyson Earl (Granby, Conn.) had been in contact with UNC Charlotte coaches ever since they saw her play at last June’s ECNL Girls national playoffs in Seattle.
The program’s coaches stayed in contact with Earl throughout her junior season last fall for Granby Memorial High School, and made sure to lift Earl’s spirits after she broke her nose during the first game of her 2022 campaign with Granby.
That care and attention to Earl’s well-being on and off the field went a long way in helping the Connecticut FC Class of 2024 standout forward make a decision for her college future. As did an official visit to the UNC Charlotte campus.
