About 18 months ago, Juventus West joined the Juventus Academy Boston umbrella, after being formerly known as NEFC West.
Since then, the club has seen substantial growth. It now has roughly 600 players, primarily landing talent from Western Mass., Northern and Central Connecticut, and from prep school within the Springfield, Mass. region.
Particularly on the boys side, Juventus West has produced a plethora of college talent over the past couple years. By this time last year, 20 of the 21 Class of 2022 players for the club were committed to a college.
This year’s group is younger, but five Class of 2023 players are already committed to college programs -- Austin Bush (New Hampshire), Michael Gouvin (New Hampshire), Quinn Donohue (Assumption), Colin Goodhines (Skidmore) and Sam Cocchi (Endicott).
