It’s been an eventful few months for Allison Powderly (Kingston, Mass.), and that's probably an understatement.
Back on Saturday, Nov. 19, Powderly, a Class of 2024 center back, helped lead her Silver Lake Regional High School girls soccer team to its first ever state championship with a 1-0 win over Oliver Ames in the MIAA Division 2 final at Walpole High School.
Immediately after the state championship game, Powderly headed to the airport and flew to Florida for an ODP National Tryout. She went on to make the National Select U-17 team and will compete with that squad at the Dallas Cup in early-April.
