Pearse O’Brien (West Hartford, Conn.) is showing plenty of promise as a collegiate midfielder.
O’Brien stood out during his freshman season at Providence College, appearing in 17 games and starting 15. He finished the season with three goals and 13 points. The Oakwood SC product led the Friars in assists (seven) as well.
The 19-year-old has also represented Ireland at the youth level and is a product of Salt Lake Academy and Acellus Academy, too. This spring and summer, O’Brien will be suiting up with Vermont Green FC in USL League Two.
