Resilience is no problem for Siena College midfielder Christian Amaral.
A native of Newington, Conn., and an alumnus of the Connecticut Football Club (CFC), where he was a captain, Amaral has always had one focus: playing Division 1 soccer. But after failing to receive any Division 1 offers in high school, Amaral turned to Division 2 American International College.
