One of the most fun and compelling events on the New England college soccer spring schedule kicks off this weekend.
The CT Spring College Cup is back for a third straight year. The competition features six men’s soccer teams from Connecticut and each team will play a four-match schedule. After that, a first-place game, a third-place game and a fifth-place game will be held, based on the standings.
Participating teams are: Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, Central Connecticut State, Southern Connecticut State, New Haven and Post -- so, that's three Division 1 programs and three Division 2 programs. Last year’s champion was Quinnipiac, while Division 2 Post was the champ in the inaugural competition in 2022.
