To advance far in the NCAA tournament, a prerequisite for any team is having a special player or two, especially in the final third.
Post University has exactly that ahead of its first-round match Thursday against Millersville, as the Eagles (14-3-3) won their second straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference title last weekend.
The heartbeat of their offense comes from a pair of juniors from Spain, as Sergio Diaz and Alvaro Sanchez have combined for 29 goals and 18 assists on the year. Diaz, an All-American and the 2018 CACC Player of the Year, leads the country in assists (17) and is second in points per game (2.45).
