The Northeast Conference readies for its 37th season on the pitch, kicking off on Thursday, Aug. 26 with a slate that includes Sacred Heart opening its season at Siena (4:30 p.m.).
The last New England-based program to win the NEC tourney was Central Connecticut in 2007, as the conference has watched St. Francis Brooklyn capture five of the last eight postseason crowns.
