Unable to get its feet under it during last spring’s shortened season, Northeastern is wise enough to know that there is work to be done to join the top-tier teams in the CAA, but is also poised to create havoc in the process should things jell quickly.
“We are excited about the new season and a fresh start,” said Huskies head coach Chris Gbandi, who enters his sixth season. “We understand we have lots of work to do to improve, but the group is looking forward to taking on all challenges the season will bring.”
Redshirt junior forward Timothy Ennin (Hartford, Conn.), senior forward/midfielder Benni Klingen and senior midfielder Jacob Marin-Thomson provide a strong core of experience and leadership.
