When Nick Steed repeated his junior year at Berkshire in 2017-18, he had one thought on his mind: play college soccer at the highest level, combined with great academics.
The 19-year-old winger accomplished that goal this past Friday. That's when Steed, from Elmira, N.Y., verbally committed to Colgate, a Patriot League program that's made the last two NCAA tournaments.
The decision to join the Raiders and play under head coach Eric Ronning was quite simple, Steed said.
