Bruce Arena and the New England Revolution are already hard at work building their roster for the 2021 MLS season, wasting little time after losing in the Eastern Conference Final against Columbus Crew SC.
The club announced its season-end roster decisions Tuesday, with guaranteed contracts and exercised option years bringing the team to 18 players. That’s enough for a match-day roster, though MLS rules allow for 30 players with various designations under the salary cap.
That allots Arena ample room to make moves, whether signings arrive via the international market, MLS free agency or other mechanisms.
