After two months of regular-season games, the prep school playoff field is set.
On Saturday night, the NEPSAC released its postseason brackets for Class A, B, C and D, with teams seeded one through eight. Quarterfinal final games will commence Wednesday, then semifinals will occur Saturday. The finals will all take place next Sunday at Middlesex School in Concord, Mass.
Last year's winners were Loomis Chaffee (Class A), Brooks (Class B), Hebron (Class C) and Hyde (Class D). The latter two didn't make the playoffs this year, while Hebron's exclusion draws extra attention after winning consecutive New England prep titles in 2016 and 2017.
Ahead of Wednesday's quarterfinal games, we've broken down each Class A and Class B matchup. There are clear favorites in each bracket, but upsets could be brewing.
