For anyone who watched Jacob Shaffelburg during his time at Berkshire or while playing for Black Rock FC in USL League Two, the sight was a familiar one.
Shaffelburg, who took the unconventional step of going straight from prep school to the professional ranks, just made Forward Madison FC defenders look silly. The left-footed winger, now with Toronto FC II, sliced between three opponents with a burst of speed before finishing calmly past the goalkeeper.
It’s a sight that TFC II coach Michael Rabasca has come to love, too.
