The 2021 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch Lists have been released, with five players competing on Division I programs across New England earning preseason recognition.
The three men’s representatives hail from America East programs, including two from Vermont and one from New Hampshire. On the women’s side, there’s one player each from Harvard and Central Connecticut State.
The MAC Hermann Trophy is handed out annually to the top men’s and women’s players in D-1 soccer. Fifteen players will be named semifinalists on Nov. 30, followed by three finalists on Dec. 15 via a voting process. Winners will be announced Jan. 7 in St. Lous, Mo.
