No league has waited longer to get back to competitive action than the Ivy League, which saw its entire sports slate erased from the 2020-21 seasons.
Men’s soccer will finally get rolling on Friday, Sept. 3 with five league teams in action, including top contender Yale opening at Fairfield (7 p.m.) and Brown visiting Hartford (7:30 p.m.). Dartmouth will be the final team to go off, opening its season on Friday, Sept. 10 with a 10 p.m. kickoff at No. 9 Washington.
It will have been more than 650 days since Yale, the last Ivy team to take the pitch, bowed out in the NCAA tournament to Boston College.
