Edward Kizza, during his three seasons at the University of Pittsburgh, accumulated quite the résumé.
The Ugandan striker, who will require an international slot to sign in Major League Soccer, twice placed on the All-ACC First Team and All-South Region Second Team. Consider it a byproduct of his 31 goals and seven assists in 53 games (52 starts) with the Panthers.
That was enough to entice the New England Revolution in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, who took Kizza with their first-round pick (No. 24 overall) in Thursday’s virtual event.
