If it weren’t for injuries, FSA FC Girls ECNL director Mick D’Arcy is confident the club’s U-17 team could have advanced further or placed into a higher division out at ECNL National Playoffs.
But with as many as seven players out at various points, the depleted squad placed in the Showcase Cup (third tier) and promptly lost all three games out in California.
The club’s U-17s won their final three games of the regular season, but postseason play wasn’t as kind against teams from Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Arizona. To patch the lineup, FSA called up several NPL players.
