After a season that saw nearly 20,000 athletes and more than 700 teams competing, the ECNL Girls announced the 2021-22 Conference Players of the Year and All-Conference First and Second Teams.
Leading the way, in regards to clubs from New England, was FC Stars Blue forward Kelsee Wozniak (Raynham, Mass.), who captured the New England Conference Player of the Year for the U-18/19 division. The other players of the year (U-15, U-16 and U-17) in the New England Conference all came from New York-based World Class FC.
Wozniak is entering her freshman season at Princeton after a stellar career for FC Stars. She attended Whitman-Hanson High School. The three-time ECNL Girls All-Conference selection and 5-foot-8 striker was FC Stars’ main attacking threat and helped the side win the New England Conference title this past season.
