The hierarchy in New England’s Division 3 women’s soccer landscape is relatively well-established.
Amherst, Middlebury, Tufts and Williams -- these are schools fighting for a NESCAC title every year. MIT is a powerhouse in the NEWMAC. Johnson & Wales owns the GNAC lately.
But that doesn’t stop schools from breaking into the top tier or disrupting the status quo. Becoming a bonafide NCAA Tournament contender is easier said than done, but that shouldn’t diminish their quality.
