The hierarchy in New England’s Division 3 men’s soccer landscape is relatively well-established.
Amherst, Bowdoin, Connecticut College, Middlebury, Tufts and Williams -- these are schools fighting for a NESCAC title every year. Babson’s the NEWMAC powerhouse right now. Brandeis, at least traditionally, is in the conversation as well.
But that doesn’t stop schools from breaking into the broader conversation of contenders. They might not always rise to the level of NCAA Tournament contender, but that doesn’t diminish the work they’re doing or the quality they possess.
Mindful of the above framework, here are three programs that deserve more attention as their 2023 seasons unfold.
