New England is home to some of the country’s top Division 3 men’s programs. The likes of Tufts, Brandeis and Amherst consistently make deep NCAA Tournament runs, raising the broader collective’s profile on a national level.
From that, many local youth soccer players harbor dreams of going the D3 route, but sometimes fulfilling those hopes means having to venture outside the region. That’s exactly what happened with the below 11 returners, who are all worth keeping an eye on as the 2018 season unfolds.
Those included are either from New England or have roots at local prep schools. Freshman also aren’t included, because it’ll take several weeks to grasp which ones will be truly impactful.
