The ripple effect of the COVID-cancelled season -- from two years back -- is still being felt across New England’s Division 1 women’s soccer landscape.
Namely, players have an extra year of eligibility to use as they deem fit. Some graduate on time, others exercise that option at another program, and a handful sticks around town.
We’re focusing on the latter group -- a collection of familiar faces who will be fifth-years during the 2023 season. In some circles, they’re called "super seniors."
