While a team effort will be required for any of New England's Division 1 women's teams to make an NCAA Tournament run, moments of individual brilliance will be equally as important.
These dozen players, from programs throughout the region, are all capable of providing exactly that. They've made a name for themselves in past seasons, earning call-ups to youth national teams and all-conference honors.
First-year players aren't included, because it's too early to know how they'll pan out in college.
