The women’s Division 3 NCAA Tournament will kick off in full force this weekend.
The 64-team field has a distinct New England flavor with 12 teams from the region competing for a national championship.
That flavor extends well beyond just those dozen squads. Several sides in the tourney from outside of New England feature players who grew up and honed their skills in our talent-rich, six-state area.
Here are 10 players (in alphabetical order) from programs outside of New England to keep an eye on in the Big Dance.
