A total of 12 teams from the region will be competing in the 2021 NCAA Division 3 women’s soccer championship tournament. That’s nearly 20% of the entire tourney field.
The NCAA selection committee unveiled the brackets on Monday. Forty-four conferences were awarded automatic qualification, while the final 20 berths were reserved for Pool C, which includes institutions from automatic-qualifying conferences that did not win their conference championship as well as independent institutions.
