Ater an unexpected layoff spanning nearly six months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, soccer games returned to the pitch in New Hampshire over Labor Day Weekend when Seacoast United hosted its annual Labor Day Tournament.
The adjustments required to stage those games were vast. Their facilities boasted new signage to remind players, coaches, and parents to wear masks, maintain proper social distancing and warn that only players and coaches were allowed on the turf surfaces.
The measures may seem out of the ordinary, but they were necessary in order to bring the game back to the field for the first time since March.
