In normal times, Scott Testori could very well be committed to a Division 1 college soccer program by now.
A senior at Daniel Hand (Conn.) High School, Testori (Madison, Conn.) is a 6-foot-2 attacker who’s been a crucial part of the Tigers’ streak of four straight CIAC Class L state championships. Testori had an All-American season in 2019, notching 24 goals and 16 assists, and was named the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year.
But any chance for Testori to showcase himself this spring and summer was wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic. Showcase tournaments and camps were cancelled, eliminating a golden opportunity for the four-year varsity starter to receive college offers.
