With last weekend's series between Oakwood and Seacoast United, all five of New England's boys' Development Academy teams have officially kicked off the 2019-20 season.
Some big names have left behind the DA – to name a few, former Oakwood striker Evan Southern is at St. Louis, former Beachside defender Zack Dedrick is at Notre Dame and former Boston Bolts striker Christian Pulselli is at Michigan – but there are plenty of exciting players still around.
We'll be sure to track their progression throughout the season as teams encounter the new U-19 tiers and inaugural DA Cup. There are also some important events to watch for: the Fall Regional Showcase (Oct. 25-28), the Winter Cup (Dec. 4-8) and Summer Showcase and Playoffs (June 18-30). As always, the New England Revolution will also have the Generation adidas Cup.
Until then, here's how the region's five clubs are faring early on.
