Earning the opportunity to play for a U-17 national team is an incredibly special achievement on its own.
But when you get the chance to have that unique experience along with one of your high school teammates, it’s even better.
Bishop Feehan (Mass.) High School Class of 2026 forward Izzy Todaro and Class of 2027 midfielder Michaela Poidomani have been selected to play with the U-17 Puerto Rico Women’s National Team in a round of CONCACAF qualifiers for the U-17 World Cup. The duo will be with the national team from Jan. 25-Feb. 1.
Todaro (East Greenwich, R.I.) plays her club soccer for Bayside FC Girls Academy, while Poidomani (North Attleboro, Mass.) plays for FC Stars.
